NHL Parlay Picks & Predictions for Monday at +815 odds, 10/30

In my first NHL article of this season, I was able to cash both player props in last Wednesday's Capitals vs Devils matchup. I won't be focusing on player props today, but I do have some picks that I've combined to make an NHL parlay with a substantial return. It's also important to remember that you can check out our other NHL predictions for each of tonight’s 9 games.

Carolina Hurricanes vs Philadelphia Flyers Over 6 (-110)

A battle of high-powered offenses will take place when the Carolina Hurricanes travel to the Philadelphia Flyers today in what shapes up to be quite the entertaining matchup. The Canes rank inside the top 10 in the league in both goals per game (8th, 3.8) and shots (3rd, 34.8), while the Flyers are 12th in goals (3.4) and 5th in shots per contest (34.8).

Philadelphia has produced one of the better defenses in the league so far this season, but they've recently shown their vulnerability. They've surrendered at least 3 goals in 3 of their last 4 games, including 5+ in 2 of them. The over has gone 6-3 overall for Carolina this season, including 5-1 in games played on the road. Philly hasn't had that same kind of trend on their side, but it should be noted that the over has been the result in back-to-back games for the Flyers. Take the over here.
