Edmonton had been slumping before the holiday break with one win in five games, but rallied to steal a win in Calgary on Tuesday. Goaltender Stuart Skinner stopped 46 shots in that victory while Connor McDavid scored the game winner.
The following night, the Seattle Kraken dropped a 3-2 decision at home against those same Flames.
