The NHL All-Star Weekend is upon us, unofficially marking the midpoint of the 2022-23 regular season. On Feb. 4, the best players in the league will meet in Sunrise, Florida, to represent their respective divisions in the All-Star Game, with the winning team taking home a $1 million prize. The annual All-Star Skills event will be held the night before, on Feb. 3.
Each year, 44 players are selected to represent their division at the All-Star Game. The NHL hockey operations department selects one player from each of the 32 NHL teams, and the final 12 players (three per division) are voted in by fans.
Claude Giroux with the filthy finish as he and the Metropolitan Division win the 2022 NHL All-Star Game over the Central Division.
