Five teams — Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins — are an NFL-best 5-2 against the spread (ATS) entering Week 8, according Teamrankings.com. All but Kansas City (6-1) are 5-2 straight up.
The Dallas Cowboys (4-2 SU), Houston Texans (3-3), New York Jets (3-3), Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) and Seattle Seahawks (4-2) are each 4-2 ATS, while the Los Angeles Rams (3-4) and Philadelphia Eagles (6-1) are both 4-2-1 ATS.
On the flip side, the Carolina Panthers (0-6) are 0-5-1 ATS, only 1 cover better than the Denver Broncos (2-5) and New Orleans Saints (3-4), who are both 1-5-1 ATS.
