NFL Week 5 mega parlay (+1155 odds) Sunday 10/9 — Pickswise

Week 5 of the NFL season kicked off on Thursday night and it's safe to say that things can't possibly get any worse on Sunday. The Colts beat the Broncos 9-6 in a game that was every bit as bad as the score suggests. In fact, it was so bad that a whole host of fans in Denver left at the end of regulation even though…you know…the game was about to go into OT! Whatever the case, the remaining Week 5 slate offers a lot more intrigue.

Here is Sunday's mega parlay:

For this parlay we are going with one favorite against an alternate spread and two underdogs on the money line. Let's break down each of the three legs one by one.

Commanders ML over Titans (+110)

The most important facet for the Commanders is their run defense. They rank sixth in DVOA against the run, have allowed just one rushing touchdown and are limiting the opposition to an average of 108.8 rushing yards per game. It is true that Derrick Henry is better than anyone Washington has seen and the passing defense is lackluster, but Tennessee QB Ryan Tannehill and his less-than-stellar receiving corps may not be able to capitalize. This may be a favorable matchup for the Commanders' defense. On the other side of the ball. the Titans don't have a very strong pass rush and their secondary has been one of the so far this this season. Carson Wentz should be able to do enough to get Washington an outright win.
