Seven teams have opened as favorites of 6.5 or more points in Week 3. One of them being the New York Jets (1-1), who kick off the week laying 6.5 against the New England Patriots (1-1) on Thursday Night Football. QB Aaron Rodgers is coming off his 1st win as the Jets’ starter, a 24-17 victory at the Tennessee Titans (0-2) in Week 2.
The early slate Sunday is headlined by the Philadelphia Eagles (1-0 before MNF) at the New Orleans Saints (2-0). New Orleans has continued to exceed expectations (2-0 against the spread) after a 44-19 rout of the Dallas Cowboys (1-1) as a 6-point road underdog. Oth er early Sunday games include the LA Chargers (2-0) visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-0), the Cleveland Browns (1-1) hosting the New York Giants (0-2), and the Houston Texans (2-0) at the Minnesota Vikings (2-0).
