Before looking at SportsbookWire staff’s Week 16 NFL picks, here’s the against-the-spread (ATS) and Over/Under (O/U) leaders, according to Teamrankings.com.
Six teams are tied for the best ATS record at 9-5. They are the Baltimore Ravens (11-3), Dallas Cowboys (10-4), Detroit Lions (10-4), Indianapolis Colts (8-6), Miami Dolphins (10-4) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-7).
With the Carolina Panthers (2-12) winning 9-7 as 2.5-point home underdogs against the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday, the New England Patriots (3-11) took over the worst ATS mark at 3-10-1. The Panthers are 3-9-2 ATS, just ahead of the Atlanta Falcons (8-8), who are 4-10 ATS, and the New Orleans Saints (7-7), who are are 4-9-1 ATS.
The Indianapolis Colts (8-6) remained the top Over team at 10-4, followed by the Lions, who own a 9-5 O/U record.
