Panthers -6 alternate spread over Steelers (+136)

Carolina controls its own destiny in the NFC South, already with a win in hand against the Bucs and 1 more matchup pending later this season. You can't make this stuff up, folks. That's right; a team that was selling off basically all of its top players earlier in the year controls its own destiny with only 4 weeks remaining. Sure that has more to do with the division than it does with the Panthers, but you still have to give them credit. Since the Panthers got blown out by the Bengals in Week 9, they are 4-0 ATS and covering by almost 10 points per game. They are also 3-1 SU during this stretch, with the only outright loss coming at Baltimore. Since returning to the lineup 2 games ago, Sam Darnold is grading out like an above-average quarterback — especially on early downs. He'has been a stabilizing presence for an offense that has suffered through the ups and downs of Baker Mayfield and PJ Walker. For the Steelers, Mitchell Trubisky w ill likely be under center as Kenny Pickett goes through concussion protocol for the 2nd time already in 2022. This sets up well for Carolina.
