After winning a 3-team parlay in Week 12, it’s back to the drawing board after a losing Week 13. We hit just 1 of 3 ends of the 3-team parlay last weekend, and while excuses are weak, I’m going to blame injuries and weather.
The Pittsburgh Steelers lost QB Kenny Pickett (ankle) to an early injury, and there were several weather delays, too. But you know what? The Arizona Cardinals also had the same weather delays, and it didn’t seem to bother them.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were on the way to a cover, but the Carolina Panthers scored a late touchdown with 5:02 remaining for the backdoor cover, winning 21-18 as a 5.5-point favorite.
At least the Los Angeles Rams pulled away from the Cleveland Browns for the easy cover, but by the time the late window started, the parlay was already well on its way to a loss.
