The NFC South doesn't have a dominant team, but the division standings through Week 5 are not exactly shocking. It hasn't been pretty getting to this point, but the traditional favorites in the division have the edge for the time-being.

The Titans slipped past the Commanders after a huge goal line stand. Linebacker David Long Jr. intercepted Carson Wentz at the one-yard line with six seconds left to get a key stop and secure the victory. They improved to 3-2 and have a half game lead in the division.

The Colts opened the week with an ugly overtime win over the Broncos on . Neither team managed a touchdown in the game and it was some combination of good defense and atrocious offense. Indy is a tough team to figure out given their wins over the Broncos and Chiefs, but then losses to the Jaguars and the tie with the Texans.

Speaking of which, the Texans beat the Jaguars in Jacksonville on a fourth quarter score. Dameon Pierce led the way and the Texans picked off Lawrence to close this one out. Jacksonville is one of the tougher teams to figure out in the entire league. They crushed the Chargers, but have lost to the likes of Houston and Washington – neither of whom is any good.
