The NFL Week 3 main slate will wrap up here with Sunday Night Football as the Pittsburgh Steelers travel West to take on the Las Vegas Raiders in the desert. What better way to celebrate a nationally televised primetime game than by betting a Same Game Parlay? Here’s what I’ve cooked up for the occasion:
We have a 2-leg Steelers vs Raiders Same Game Parlay which pays out at north of 9/1 with FanDuel Sportsbook. Let’s break it down.
Las Vegas Raiders -9.5 alternate spread over Pittsburgh Steeler (+260)
To start this same game parlay off we’ve got the Raiders on an alt spread. The Steelers’ offense has looked like arguably the worst in the league this season, so they’re certainly a good team to target on an alt spread. Pittsburgh OC Matt Canada has generated a lot of deserved criticism for his play-calling, and Kenny Pickett hasn’t made any sort of sophomore leap.
If anything Pickett looks like he has regressed, as he’s tossed three interceptions through two games while averaging just 6.0 yards per attempt and taking seven sacks. The ground game hasn’t been any better, as they have just 96 total rushing yards on the year. Pittsburgh beat the Browns last week, but that had more to do with Cleveland’s incompetence than anything they did well.
