Cleveland Browns -2.5 over Baltimore Ravens (-115)
It’s always interesting when a 5-8 team is favored to beat a 9-4 team, but that’s the case here and it is indeed the Browns who are worth siding with. The Ravens are dealing with problems under center with starting quarterback Lamar Jackson unlikely to play and backup QB Tyler Huntley being banged up. Even without that factored in, this Ravens offense has stalled recently and has not scored more than 16 points in 3 of their last 4 games.
As for the Browns, the weather could be in their favor with high winds forecast. That works well for Cleveland, who has the 2nd-best rush defense at home this year so should be able to keep the Baltimore runners somewhat in check. Deshaun Watson only has 1 passing TD since his return, but has started to look sharper and should be able to get this offense going.
