New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays – 9/28/22 MLB Picks and Prediction

The New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays face off on Wednesday in an MLB showdown at the Rogers Centre. The two teams have split the first two games of this series.

The Yankees sit with a 95-59 record overall and the pitching was strong on Tuesday on the way to the victory. Aaron Judge is still trying to reach 61 home runs and teams have been pitching around him. On Tuesday he had four walks. The Yankees offense overall is averaging 5.05 runs per game which is second in the league. The pitching isn’t talked about as much but they are ranked 3rd in the league.

On the other side of this matchup is the Blue Jays who sit with an 87-68 record overall and they made some dumb mistakes on the bases that cost them on Tuesday. The Blue Jays offense has been good, but the pitching hasn’t been good enough overall this season. The pitching is giving up 4.27 runs per game which is 16th in the league. Bo Bichette is having a big season hitting 24 home runs and driving in 91 RBis.
