New York Yankees at Los Angeles Angels 8/30/22 – MLB Picks & Predictions

The New York Yankees will look to turn around a sluggish couple of months when they go on the road to Angel Stadium to take on the Los Angeles Angels. The Yankees lost back-to-back games to the Oakland Athletics, dropping to 78-50 which leaves them 7.5 games ahead in the AL East. The Angels have been maybe the most disappointing teams in baseball, they're 55-73 and well out of the playoff picture.

New York still has one of the best offenses in the MLB averaging 5 runs per game which ranks second in the league in scoring offense. Right fielder Aaron Judge, who is in the last year of his deal, has been the best player in baseball with a league-high 49 home runs and 109 RBIs. The rest of the offense has had ups and downs, especially lately, but this is still one of the best offenses in the league.

The right-handed Jameson Taillon will get the start for the Yankees and he's been strong this season going 12-4 with a 3.89 ERA. Taillon had a great outing his last time out, he allowed a run on six hits and struck out two in six innings of work while the Yankees dominated the A's in a 13-4 win.
