The New York Yankees and Houston Astros face off on Thursday night in Game 2 of the ALCS at MinuteMaid Park.
In Game 1 it was the Astros that were able to secure the 4-2 victory. The Yankees scored the first run in the second inning, but the Astros quickly tied it up with a run in the bottom of the second. The Astros added two runs in the sixth inning and another run in the 7th inning on the way to the victory. Chase McCormick had a big game for the Astros finishing with two hits, two runs, and one RBI. Anthony Rizzo and Harrison Bader both hit a home run for the Yankees.
One big question to watch for the Astros is whether will they continue to run out Jose Altuve out as a starter. He again couldn’t find a hit on Wednesday, and if he does play, they are going to need more production from him.
