New York will try to snap out of a losing skid when it travels to Minnesota on Monday night. The Knicks have lost four of their last five games, including a 133-118 setback against Boston on Saturday. New York got off to a strong start this season, winning three of its first four games. The Knicks immediately fell into a losing patch after that, dropping consecutive games to Milwaukee, Cleveland and Atlanta in the Eastern Conference. They responded with a road win at Philadelphia on Friday before losing to Boston at home on Saturday. New York is now on the road for a pair of games, as it will face Brooklyn in primetime on ESPN on Wednesday. The Knicks gave up a season-high 133 points in the loss to the Celtics, and they are now allowing nearly 116 points per game, which ranks No. 22 in the NBA.
