The New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys will square off in an AFC-NFC showdown on Sunday at AT&T Stadium. Kickoff from Dallas is at 4:25 p.m. ET.

New York (1-0 SU and 1-0 ATS) beat Buffalo 22-16 in its season opener and Dallas (1-0 SU and 1-0 ATS) dismantled the New York Giants 40-0 on Sunday Night Football.

The Cowboys are 8.5-point spread favorites and the game total is 39 points.

New York: Quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a torn left Achilles last week, ending his season. Offensive tackle Duane Brown, running back Breece Hall, defensive lineman Carl Lawson, and running back Israel Abanikanda are questionable to play.

Dallas: Offensive tackle Tyron Smith is probable to pla y, and wide receiver Brandin Cooks, offensive lineman Tyler Smith, offensive guard Zack Martin, cornerback Jourdan Lewis, and safety Donovan Wilson are questionable.

New York believed it was only a competent quarterback away from a deep postseason run last season, prompting the franchise to trade for future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers in the off-season. Unfortunately, the move was disastrous, as the 39-year-old suffered a season-ending Achilles injury on the first drive in week one. Now, New York must move to plan B: Zach Wilson.

The Jets' 2021 first-round pick struggled as the face of the franchise, completing 55.6 percent of his passing attempts with a 9:11 TD:INT rate in his rookie year and 54.5 percent of his passes with a 6:7 TD:INT rate in 2022. Taking over the reins of a team that was expected to be a serious contender could prove even more challenging for the 24-year-old BYU product.

New York still came out on top in its highly-anticipated clash with Buffalo on Monday, as the defense forced thr ee interceptions (all picked by safety Jordan Whitehead) and running back Breece Hall galloped for 127 yards on ten carries. The overtime victory was cathartic for Jets fans, who watched their season seemingly end shortly after it started, but it will likely be one of few victories for Gang Green in the 2023-24 season.
