The Chicago Bears (2-1) and their 30th-ranked run defense might have a hard time slowing down the New York Giants (2-1) and Saquon Barkley, one of the NFL’s top rushers, when the Bears visit the Giants at MetLife Stadium on October 2 at 1:00 PM ET.

In their last outing, the Giants were defeated by the Dallas Cowboys 23-16. The Bears’ most recent game finished in a 23-20 win over the Houston Texans. Against the Cowboys, Daniel Jones led the G-Men with 196 yards on 20-of-37 passing (54.1%) for no touchdowns and one interception. He also carried the ball nine times for 79 yards. Barkley took 14 carries for 81 yards (5.8 yards per carry) and one touchdown, while adding four receptions for 45 yards in the passing game. Sterling Shepard had 49 yards on five catches (9.8 per reception) in that game. Justin Fields totaled 106 passing yards while going 8-for-17 with no touchdowns and two interceptions for the Bears against the Texans. He added eight carries for 47 yards. Khalil Herbert put together a 20-carry, 157-yard game (7.9 yards per attempt) with two touchdowns, while also adding two receptions for 12 yards . Cole Kmet recorded two catches for 40 yards (on three targets).
