The New Orleans Saints (3-4, 3rd NFC South) play a visit to Indianapolis and Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday to play the Indianapolis Colts (3-4, 3rd AFC South). New Orleans was defeated at home last week 31-24 by the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts are coming off a tough loss to the Cleveland Browns of 39-38, but covered the spread nonetheless. New Orleans has several players on the injured lists with the most notable players out, including RB Adam Prentice, DE Payton Turner and G Trai Turner. The others are questionable. Indianapolis will play without QB Anthony Richardson. WR Ashton Dulin,  CB Dalis Dulin, CB Dallis Flowers, RB Evan Hull. Several others are also out or questionable.

The New Orleans Saints are scoring an average of just 19.0 points per game which is 21st in the NFL. The Saints are led by a strong aerial attack averaging 227.9 yards passing per game which is12th, but have little to no running game, averaging 98.1 yards per game which is 22nd. Derek Carr has passed for 1,600 yards while throwing six touchdowns and four interceptions. With just four games under his belt this season because of a suspension, Alvin Kamara leads the Saints in rushing with 261 yards while scoring a touchdown. Chris Olave has 39 receptions for 471 yards and one touchdown to lead all receivers. 

 

The New Orleans defense is 7th best in points allowed at 18.1 points per game and is fourth best in total yardage allowed at 285.7 yards per game. The Saints are allowing an average of 98.7 yards rushing which is 12th best and are even better against the pass, allowing an average of 187.0 yards per game which is fourth. Linebacker Pete Werner has a team best 47 tackles while the leader in quarterback sacks is Carl Granderson with 4.5 and eight different players have one interception each. New Orleans has made 13 quarterback sacks with eight interceptions.
