The New Mexico Lobos began the season with 15 straight wins but then hit the skids with two straight losses. They lost 71-67 at Fresno State on Jan. 3 as a 3.5 point favorite and then followed that up with a 84-77 loss to UNLV at home as a 5 point favorite. But they got back on track with an 82-75 home win against Oral Roberts on Monday.

The Lobos shot 51% from the floor in the win and out rebounded Oral Roberts. They also had 16 assists against 10 turnovers. Jamal Mashburn Jr. led the Lobos with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Mashburn leads the team with 17.9 points per game. Josiah Allick had 15 points and 13 rebounds while Jaelen House added 15 points. Morris Udeze had a double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. New Mexico is ranked No. 64 in the KenPom power rankings. They average 82.8 points per game, which ranks 15th in the nation.
