The Florida International Panthers (1-2) visit the New Mexico State Aggies (0-4) at Aggie Memorial Stadium on Saturday, October 1, 2022.

The Aggies enter the matchup after winning 45-26 over the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors in their last game on September 24. The Panthers are coming off of a 73-0 loss to the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. In that matchup with the Rainbow Warriors, Gavin Frakes had 81 yards on 8-of-14 passing (57.1%) for the Aggies, with one touchdown and one interception. He also carried the ball six times for 78 yards and one rushing touchdown. Star Thomas took 11 carries for 144 yards (13.1 yards per carry) and one touchdown, while adding one reception for eight yards in the passing game. Justice Powers had 47 yards on two catches (23.5 per reception) in that game. Grayson James put up 85 passing yards while going 13-for-23 with no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Panthers against the Hilltoppers. Lexington Joseph put together a 15-carry, 31-yard game (2.1 yards per attempt), while tacking on two receptions for four yards . Nate Jefferson collected four catches for 27 yards (on four targets).

The Panthers are massive, 14.5-point underdogs against the Aggies (the game’s total is 54.5 points).
