The New Mexico Lobos will head to Reno and face the Nevada Wolfpack in Mountain West Conference play from Lawlor Events Center on CBSSN. Nevada has won the last seven meetings by seven points or more.

New Mexico improved to 18-2 after defeating Boise State at home. The Lobos outlasted the Broncos by two points in overtime. New Mexico scores 81.9  points per game, while allowing 68.5 ppg, and shooting 48.6% from the field.

New Mexico responded to their first pair of losses with four straight victories, including a strong road win over SDSU. The Lobos sit at 5-2 in MWC play, and they’re in position to return to the Big Dance this March. The backcourt pairing of Jamal Mashburn Jr. and Jaelen House form one of the best duos in the country. Mashburn has scored a game-high 25 points in the win over Boise, and he leads the Lobos in scoring (18.6). House dropped 29 points in the against SDSU, and the veteran point guard is scoring 17.4 ppg and dishing out a team-lead 4.6 apg. Transfer forwards Morris Udeze (15.7 ppg, 8.5 rpg) and Josiah Allick (8.4 ppg, 8.4 rpg) start up front for UNM.
