The Louisiana State Tigers host the New Mexico Lobos on Sept. 24. The Tigers are 29-point favorites in first ever meeting with the Lobos.
LSU upset Mississippi State at home Saturday, winning 31-16. The Tigers were a three-point underdog to the Bulldogs. LSU trailed the entire game until taking a 17-16 lead early in the fourth quarter. Two more scores at 6:53 and 4:50 made it 31-16. Mississippi State appeared to be on the way to a late score, but an LSU interception with 3:06 left assured the win and UNDER 53.5 points total.
'The Tigers were four-point favorites against Florida State in the opener but lost 24-23. The O/U for the game was 51. Neither the spread or the OVER were much in doubt for Week 2 at LSU cruised past Southern 65-17.
