The New Jersey Devils face the Seattle Kraken with both teams looking to build off of great seasons. The Devils have a 29-12-3 record and with five wins in a row have leaped into second place in the Metropolitan Division. The Kraken have a 26-14-4 record and with eight wins in their last 10 games have leaped to the top of the Pacific Division. Both teams look to remain near the top of their divisions and the upcoming game looks to be a great one as a result.

The Devils are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.52 goals per game with 24 goals in the last six games. Jack Hughes, Jesper Bratt, and Nico Hischier have scored 67 goals and 76 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also stepped up. Tomas Tatar, Dawson Mercer, and Yegor Sharangovich have combined for 30 goals and 45 assists while defenseman Dougie Hamilton is adding 10 goals and 28 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has also stepped up, allowing only 2.61 goals per game. Ryan Graves and Jonas Seigenthaler have combined for 6.8 defensive point shares and 157 blocked shots while Dougie Hamilton and Damon Severson have combined for 4.6 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit.
