The Devils are having a great season with their offense leading the way, scoring 3.90 goals per game with 15 goals in the last four games. Jack Hughes, Jesper Bratt, and Tyler Toffoli have scored 19 goals and 30 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has also stepped up. The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.60 goals per game. Luke Hughes and John Marino have led the top two pairings with 19 blocked shots but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net with ease. In addition, goaltender Vitek Vanecek has struggled with a .893 save percentage and a 3.21 goals-against average on 196 shots with -2.7 goals saved above average.
