The New England Patriots (7-6, 7-5-1 ATS, 5-8 O/U) are on the road to battle the Las Vegas Raiders (5-8, 6-7 ATS, 6-7 O/U) in an AFC clash on Sunday afternoon. The Patriots posted a road win against the Cardinals in their previous bout. The Raiders dropped a road decision against the Rams last week. These foes last met in 2020 in a game New England won by a 36-20 score.

The New England Patriots are looking to improve their playoff odds with another road win. They currently stand in the last Wildcard spot in the competitive AFC playoff standings. New England recorded a dominating 27-13 road win against the Cardinals on Monday in a bout that had the Pats marked as two-point favorites. The win snapped a two-game losing streak. The two losses were against the Vikings and Bills. The Pats have covered in one of their last three clashes.

Mac Jones isn’t posting big numbers but has been efficient. The 24-year-old QB connected on 68% of his pass attempts last week and features a stellar 68% completion efficiency on the season. Jones has accrued 2198 passing yards and a 7:8 TD to INT ratio. 

Damien Harris has missed the last two games due to a thigh injury and is questionable. The 24-year-ol d RB has 383 yards. If he is unable to play the Pats have another capable running back in Rhamondre Stevenson. He only had three carries for eight yards last week but leads the squad with 742 yards on 4.5 yards per rush. Jakobi Meyers also did not play last week due to a head injury and is questionable. The Pats #1 WR has reached the 100 yards mark once this season and has 593 receiving yards on the year while DeVante Parker has recorded 460 yards. The New England offense won’t dazzle but has eclipsed 25 points in two out of its last three games.

The Patriots' defense rebounded from two subpar performances by holding the Cardinals to only 210 passing yards and 323 total yards last week. The pass rush continues to excel, ranking 3rd in the NFL in sacks. The pass defense is especially a strength, ranking ninth while the rush defense is marked 12th. New England is averaging 21.2 points on the year, ranking them 18th. They are conceding an average of 18.4 points, placing them fifth in the NFL.
