The Chicago Bears (2-4) and their 29th-ranked run defense may have a hard time slowing down the New England Patriots (3-3) and Rhamondre Stevenson, one of the league’s top runners, when the Bears visit the Patriots at Gillette Stadium on October 24 at 8:15 PM ET.

The Patriots played the Cleveland Browns in their last outing, winning 38-15. Their last time out, the Bears lost 12-7 to the Washington Commanders. Bailey Zappe threw for 309 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions on 24-of-34 passing (70.6%) for the Pats in that matchup against the Browns. Stevenson carried the ball 19 times for 76 yards (4.0 yards per carry) with two touchdowns on the ground. He also had four receptions for 15 yards. DeVante Parker led the receiving charge against the Browns, catching four passes for 64 yards. Justin Fields went 14-for-27 with 190 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Bears against the Commanders. He rushed 12 times for 88 yards. Khalil Herbert carried the ball seven times for 75 yards. Dante Pettis caught four passes on seven targets for 84 yards (21.0 yards per reception), and scored one touchdown.
