The Nevada Wolfpack (15-3, 11-6-0 ATS) lost to San Diego State on Wednesday, 71-59. It was the second straight loss for the team, as they fell to Boise State a week ago Friday. The Wolfpack are 3-1 on the road (3-1-0 ATS) and are 2-2 in the conference. Nevada is 46th according to the KenPom rankings and is three places higher in Bart Torvik’s rankings.

San Diego State dominated this contest from the beginning, taking a 14-point advantage into the half. The Aztecs hit 52.0% of their shots while the Wolfpack were stone cold, hitting 37.5%, including missing all 10 of their three-point attempts. They finished 6-23 from beyond the arc in the contest, as the team is now 209th in three-point shooting (33.3%). This is a solid shooting team overall, 71st in field-goal percentage (46.9%).

Tre Coleman led the team with 16 points, hitting six of 10 shots. It was a nice surprise for Coleman, who is fourth on the team in scoring (8.2 PPG). Nevada is 80th in points per 100 possessions (111.2) and 29th in points allowed per 100 possessions (96.3).
