The Nevada Wolf Pack (2-4) hit the road for an MWC clash against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (1-4) on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.
The Wolf Pack head into this matchup following a 17-14 loss to the Colorado State Rams in their last outing. The Rainbow Warriors are coming off of a loss to the San Diego State Aztecs by the score of 16-14. Nate Cox had 244 yards on 20-of-42 passing (47.6%) for the Wolf Pack in that matchup against the Rams, with no touchdowns and one interception. He also added eight carries for 23 yards. Toa Taua carried the ball 23 times for 80 yards (3.5 yards per carry) with two touchdowns on the ground. He also had three receptions for 40 yards. Brian Casteel had 87 yards on nine catches (9.7 per reception) in that game. Brayden Schager notched 196 passing yards while going 20-for-34 with one touchdown and no interceptions for the Warriors against the Aztecs. Dedrick Parson carried the ball 14 times for 70 yards and one touchdown. He caught one pass for eight yards. Zion Bowens recorded 108 yards through the air after nine catches (on 11 targets), with one touchdown.
The Rainbow Warriors are 6-point underdogs in their matchup against the Wolf Pack (the game has an over/under of 49.5 points).
