Nevada at Air Force – 12/31/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Nevada Wolf Pack will head up to Colorado Springs and face the Air Force Falcons in Mountain West play this weekend from the Clune Arena on ALT2. Nevada comfortably leads the all-time series 15-3 after winning 11 of the last 12 meetings.

Nevada improved to 11-3 after a home win over Boise State. The Wolf Pack opened MWC play on a good note, recovering from a late rally by the Broncos to pick up the two-point win. Nevada is scoring 73.1 points per game, while allowing 64.8 ppg, and shooting 43.2% from the floor.

Senior guard Jarod Lucas has settled in nicely in Reno. The Oregon State transfer has been a model for consistency early on, scoring 16 or more in all but three contests so far. Lucas is leading Nevada in scoring at 16.6 ppg. Fellow senior guard Kenan Blackshear scored 20 points against Boise, including the go-ahead bucket to put the Wolf Pack over the top, and he’s posting a healthy line of 14.3 ppg, 5.1 rpg, and 5.1 apg. Senior center Will Baker scored 23 points in the win over Norfolk State before the break, and he’s scoring 12.5 ppg and grabbing 4.8 rpg.
