The Sanford Pentagon in South Dakota will host a neutral site matchup between the Nebraska Cornhuskers (4-0, 3-1 ATS) and the Oregon State Beavers (3-0, 1-1 ATS). Nebraska just won at home 84-63 over Stony Brook, covering the 16.5-point spread in the process. Oregon State needed overtime to defeat Appalachian State, winning 81-71 in the extra period as just 2.5-point favorites. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:00 EST in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers set themselves up with an easy start to the 2023 season. All of their first four games were played at home, and against non-power conference schools. They were favored by at least 14.5 points in every game, and covered three of the four spreads. We will find out if this schedule sets them up for success, or is a disservice as they are not prepared for more difficult teams. Oregon State will provide the first true challenge for Nebraska this season.

Juwan Gary played his first game of the season against Stony Brook. He started all 17 games for Nebraska last year before requiring season ending shoulder surgery. He made noise in his debut, the 6'6 junior forward had 19 points and seven rebounds in the win. Rienk Mast is a 6'10 transfer-forward from Bradley, the big man averaged double figures the last two seasons before coming to Nebraska. He has played excellent in his first games with Nebraska, averaging 14.8 PPG and 10.8 RPG. Brice Williams is another transfer, coming over from Charlotte, he is a 6'7 guard adding 13.0 PPG and 6.0 RPG. Keisei Tominaga is their outside shooter, he is averaging 12.5 PPG as a 6'2 guard.

Nebraska is ranked 53rd overall in the nations according to KenPom. Their offense ranks 78th in efficiency and their defense ranks 41st. Their tempo ranks 166th in the nation based on the amount of possessions per game.
