Week 0 of the 2022 NCAA college football season includes a showdown between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Northwestern Wildcats. Nebraska absolutely decimated Northwestern in their 2021 meeting, walking out with a huge 56-7 victory in front of over 87,000 fans at Memorial Stadium. Unfortunately for Wildcats fans, their team isn't that much better than last year and there's a good reason why the Cornhuskers are 13.5-point favorites here.
Nebraska's defense should help keep their opponents at bay. Northwestern only scored more than 14 points in five of their 12 games last season, only averaging 11.3 PPG in their final six outings. In other words, it should be a decisive Cornhuskers victory in Dublin.
