The Nebraska Cornhuskers and Minnesota Golden Gophers face off on Saturday in a college basketball showdown at Williams Arena. The home team has won the last six games played between the two teams.

On the other side of this matchup is Minnesota who sits with a 6-7 record and they have gone 4-8-1 against the spread. This is a down year for Minnesota, but they were at least competitive in the last game against Wisconsin. The defense gave up only 63 points and they lost by three points. Minnesota is averaging 63.2 points while their defense is giving up 66.5 points per game. Dawson Garcia is averaging 14.2 points while shooting 45.4 percent from the field. In this game the defense is going to need to step up again.
