The 2022 college football season is underway and Sunday provides us with an entertaining nonconference matchup. This battle will take place on Sunday night when Florida State travels to New Orleans for a matchup against the LSU Tigers. This contest kicks off at 7:30 pm ET and will be televised on ESPN.'

Florida State ML (+130)
This is an intriguing matchup between two traditional powers in college football. However, neither team is expected to be a contender in their respective conferences this season. With that said, Florida State does present value at the current number. This game is being played in New Orleans, which gives LSU a decent “home field” advantage. However, there are so many questions surrounding the Tigers in Brian Kelly’s debut that it’s hard to know what we’re getting. I would say that LSU is the more talented team on paper. However, that might not matter in a season-opening game against a Seminoles team that has much more continuity.
