North Carolina State, ranked 18th in the country, heads into Virginia looking to improve upon an already stellar season with a win over #13 Virginia. NC State is fourth in the ACC standings and held serve on Saturday with a 72-64 home win over Georgia Tech. It wasn't a dominant performance by the Wolfpack but they pulled away late with a 14-3 run over the final four minutes to seal the win. DJ Burns led the way with 24 points and Casey Morsell and Ernest Ross added 17 points and 16 points respectively. Leading scorer Terquavion Smith scored just five points but added a career-high 10 assist in the win.
