NC State vs. UConn odds, tips and betting trends

The No. 12 NC State Wolf Pack (3-0) and the UConn Huskies (1-3) meet at Wayne Day Family Field at Carter-Finley Stadium on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

In their last outing, the Wolf Pack won 27-14 over the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The Huskies are coming off of a 59-0 loss to the Michigan Wolverines. Against the Red Raiders, Devin Leary led the Pack with 121 yards on 15-of-23 passing (65.2%) for no touchdowns and no interceptions. Jordan Houston took 13 carries for 57 yards (4.4 yards per carry), while adding one reception for 10 yards in the passing game. Demie Sumo had four receptions for 93 yards (23.3 per catch) and one touchdown against the Red Raiders. He also had 14 carries for 54 yards and one touchdown. Zion Turner went 4-for-16 with 17 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Huskies against the Wolverines. He also rushed seven times for 42 yards. Victor Rosa carried the ball 14 times for 23 yards. Nathan Carter caught one pass on three targets for nine yards (9.0 yards per reception).

The Huskies are massive, 38.5-point underdogs in their matchup against the Wolf Pack (the game’s over/under is 49.5 points).
