The North Carolina State Wolfpack will head down the road to Chapel Hill and face the North Carolina Tar Heels from the Dean Smith Center on the ACC Network. UNC leads the all-time series, 116-49, and they’ve won eight of the last ten meetings.
N.C. State improved to 15-4 after beating Georgia Tech in Atlanta. The Wolf Pack outscored the Yellow Jackets in both halves and picked up the 12-point victory. N.C. State scores 79.5 points per game, while allowing 66.4 ppg, and shooting 45.4% from the floor.
N.C. State has won six of their last seven games, and after spanking Duke by 24 points, they shouldn’t be overlooked heading into any matchup. Terquavion Smith is what the great Dick Vitale would call a “PTP”. The 6’4 guard has scored 20 or more in each of the past five ACC games, and he leads the Wolfpack in scoring (19.1). Ole Miss transfer Jarkel Joiner has come in and complimented him well, scoring 21 points in both wins over VT and Duke, and he’s second on the team at 16.2 ppg.
