The Aggies are struggling as they are 5-9 (0-1) to begin the season and are on a four-game losing streak after an 88-76 road loss on Thursday against the Northeast Huskies. The Pride are 8-6 (1-0) and are on a two-game winning streak after an 87-73 Thursday road win over the Delaware Blue Hens. This is their only matchup this season against one another so this should be an important game.
The North Carolina A&T Aggies have been decent offensively this season as they are averaging 71.1 points while shooting a decent 42 percent from the floor. They have been passing the ball pretty well this season with 11.9 assists per game up to this point. Sophomore guard Kam Woods has led the way for the team as he is averaging 17.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 2.2 turnovers in 32.5 minutes per game.
Their defense has been doing a decent job, but there is room for improvement, as they are allowing teams to score 72.8 points per game against them. They are doing pretty well swiping the ball away as they are averaging 7.8 steals and 3.1 blocks.
