North Carolina A&T looks to snap a four-game losing streak when the Aggies visit Hofstra in the second Colonial Athletic Association game for both teams. On Thursday evening, North Carolina A&T (5-9, 0-1 CAA) lost 88-76 at Northeastern. The Aggies shot 28-of-56 from the field, but just 3-for-13 from three-point range.

Hofstra (8-6, 1-0) opened its CAA schedule with Thursday's 87-73 win at Delaware. Tyler Thomas, a 6-3 redshirt senior, set the tone early by scoring all nine points during Hofstra's opening 9-0 run.  The Pride are seeking their third consecutive win.

Kam Woods, a 6-2 sophomore, is North Carolina A&T's leading scorer, averaging 17.8 points. Marcus Watson, a 6-6 redshirt junior, averages 13.9 points and 4.5 rebounds, while 6-5 senior Demetrick Horton averages 12.4 points. Austin Johnson, a 6-9 senior, is listed as questionable due to illness. He has missed the last three games and is averaging 6.0 points and 6.5 rebounds.

The Aggies average 71.07 points and allow 72.79.  They have been fairly effective shooting the three, .348. A main problem is that the Aggies have committed more turnovers (171) than assists (167).
