This has been quite the rebuilding job for Montre Ross, the former head coach at Delaware. He took over a team that underachieved at 6-12 in the CAA and 13-10 overall. They underachieved because they had some real talent that wound up at stronger programs and conferences led by guard Kam Woods, who transferred to NC State.  Despite that and a terrible start, North Carolina A&T is 5-5 in the CAA. However, after winning three straight over Northeastern, Hampton and William & Mary, the Aggies have now lost three of their last four. A big reason for losing has been the loss of 6-2 freshman guard Landon Glasper, who averages 21.3 points per game. Glasper has missed the last three games including their home loss to Elon (69-65) on Saturday. Elon shot 49% from the field and 45 (9-of-20) from long range. Freshman Jalal McKie led the Aggies with 23 points, while Camian Shell added 22 points, seven assists and five boards. But the Aggies shot just 39% from the field.

The Aggies are listed as the 338th team overall according to KenPom and they are 350th in Adjusted Defensive Efficiency. Glasper is listed as questionable for this game due to an undisclosed injury. If he can't go, Shell (12ppg, 4.5apg), Jeremy Robinson (7.5ppg) and McKie (6.5ppg) will need to step up against the Cougars. This is a young team so defense is a work-in-progress. They allow 78.6 points per game on 48.6% shooting (357th) and 35.6% from long range (307th). Offensively, the Aggies are shooting just 40.1% from the field (342) and 30.9% (313) from long range. They also rank 350th in rebound margin at -9.2.
