The action starts early in the afternoon as the Phoenix Suns take on the Milwaukee Bucks and continues with the Los Angeles Lakers battling the Dallas Mavericks and finishes with the Los Angeles Clippers facing the Denver Nuggets. I’ve crafted a 3-leg parlay that pays out at nearly 8/1 odds, but also be sure to check out all of our NBA picks for today.

Atlanta Hawks -5 (-110) over Brooklyn Nets

To sum up Brooklyn's last game in one word: embarrassing. They lost by 44 points to the Bulls and looked like a high school basketball team on offense. They finished with just 29 points in the entire first half. They ended the game shooting 37% from the field and only 27% from 3-point land, yet they finished with 44 shots from deep. Their strategy of settling for 3-point shots was not working, but they refused to drive to the basket and had just 22 points in the paint. Brooklyn will not battle in the paint since Clint Capela is there, so they will be content with mid-range and 3-point shots. The problem with that is Atlanta is allowing the 5th worst 3-point percentage on their home court.
