NBA Player Props Predictions 1: Domantas Sabonis, Kings 21.5 Points (-125) DK
Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis is averaging 20.1 points per game on 60.9% shooting from the field thus far in the regular season.
Sabonis has fallen short of this point total in each of his last two games with 21 & 14 points but has cleared the mark in 9 of his last 15 games.
However, Sabonis has consistently struggled against Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic, scoring less than 16 points in 7 of 8 career games. In his last three head-to-head games against Nurkic, Sabonis has only scored 15, 13 and 15 points.
The Suns allow the 10th least number of points to opposing centers in general, allowing only 21.89 points per game.
The Kings are wrapping up a four-game road trip in which they have lost the last two games including a 143-142 overtime game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
The Suns finally have their big three on the court together and are favored by 4.5, so we could see Sacramento wave the white flag late in the game if they are trailing.
NBA Player Props Predictions 2: James Harden, Clippers Over 16.5 Points (-120) DK
Los Angeles Clippers point guard James Harden has averaged 17 points per game on 45.6% shooting through his first 34 games of the regular season.
Harden has only eclipsed this mark in 15 of those 34 games (44% success rate) but has consistently been in the ballpark with 14+ points in 24 of those 34 games.
However, Harden loves to score against his former team the Oklahoma City Thunder, who he has scored 23 points against on December 12th.
He also scored 24 points in his lone appearance against the Thunder last season. Oklahoma City ranks middle of the pack in points allowed to opposing point guards with 24.92 allowed per game but did just allow D’Angelo Russell to score 14 points against them in their last game.
Harden consistently lands over or around 14+ points and I’m willing to bank on an extra three-ball against his former club tonight in LA.
