NBA Player Props Predictions 1: Scottie Barnes 12.5 Rebounds + Assists (-140) DK
Toronto Raptors small forward Scottie Barnes has averaged 9.1 Rebounds and 5.7 assists through the early part of the NBA regular season for an average of 14.8 rebounds + assists per game.
Barnes has cleared this RA total in 12 of his first 15 games while landing on 12, 9 & 9 in the other three games.
The Chicago Bulls allow the 5th most assists (4.57) and 13th most rebounds (7.79) per game to opposing small forwards.
Barnes put up 10 rebounds and 10 assists for a total of 20 RA against Scottie on October 27th against the Bulls while also adding 22 points.
However, Chicago does a solid job defending the mid-range game so we will stick with the rebounds and assists as Barnes has cleared this line at an 80% rate.
NBA Player Props Predictions 2: Chris Paul 9.5 Assists (-115) DK
Golden State Warriors point guard Chris Paul is only averaging 7.6 assists per game early the season. However, his assist number have shot up since Step Curry has returned to the court.
Paul recorded 11 assists on 18 potential assists in his last game against the Oklahoma City Thunder after recording 12 assists on 22 potentials in the prior game against the Houston Rockets.
Paul also had 6 assists on 11 potential assists against the Phoenix Suns before being ejected prior to halftime.
The San Antonio Spurs are bottom of the barrel across the board on defense and that includes assists allowed to opposing point guards as the Spurs allow 9.36 assists per game 5th most in the NBA.
The Spurs rank 4th in pace of play and the total is 235 tonight so we should see plenty of scoring. Look for Paul to be laser focused tonight after the ejection, take his assist over at a great price.
