We're analyzing our favorite NBA player props and best bets for Monday, based on the NBA odds from our best sports betting apps.
We're back for another week of NBA action, starting Monday with an eight-game slate.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, and the Milwaukee Bucks face the Detroit Pistons in a rematch of Saturday's high-scoring affair. Also, Joel Embiid, the Association's leading scorer, gets a favorable matchup when the Philadelphia 76ers host the San Antonio Spurs.
The new-look Toronto Raptors host the skeleton-crew Memphis Grizzlies as well, and the Atlanta Hawks (sans Trae Young) head west to face the Sacramento Kings for Monday's nightcap.

Monday's NBA player props
We've bet the Under on Giannis' points, rebounds, and assists prop in 2023-24 and been burned, but we're going back to the well on Monday.
The Greek Freak has played masterfully all season, but he hasn't cleared this mark in any of his last five games. Giannis has gone Under 50.5 points, rebounds, and assists in three matchups against the Pistons this season, while Damian Lillard has been averaging 37.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 6.3 assists. That includes 50 combined against Detroit during Saturday's 141-135 win.
Giannis has played the Pistons 16 times and hit this prop only twice over the past five seasons. This is a lofty mark, and Detroit is so bad that a negati ve game script often gets in the way of a monster performance.
The Pistons received a ridiculous 76 points from their bench during Saturday's surprisingly competitive matchup, but that's unlikely to happen again. The Bucks are 12.5-point favorites on Monday, and they should take this one handily. Giannis won't be needed for significant minutes or huge numbers.

Joel Embiid has been incredible this season while being among the front-runners in our NBA MVP odds. He extended his streak of 30-plus-point games to 20 on Saturday. During that run, which goes all the way back to Nov. 17, he's averaged 36.8 points per game with seven 40-plus-point outings. Embiid has notched eight 40-plus-point games in 2023-24, including five at home.
The Sp urs allow the fifth most points and 10th most in the paint. The team gave up 66 paint points at Washington on Saturday to the likes of Marvin Bagley III, Deni Avdija, and Kyle Kuzma.
Embiid shouldn't struggle to dominate San Antonio's vulnerable frontcourt. His points prop is set at 35.5, but we'll gladly climb the ladder all the way up to 39.5 for plus-money odds.
The Grizzlies are running out of available players, and they're even more desperate for scorers. That leaves Jaren Jackson Jr. as the team's go-to option offensively. He's averaging a career-high 21.7 points per game in 2023-24, including 22.3 on the road. Jackson is also averaging 26.3 points per game across his last seven contests, scoring at least 27 in three of those outings. The forward has logged 11 games with at least 27 points on the season overall, and eight have come on the road.
Toronto ranks eighth in paint point s surrendered during 2023-24 (53.2), but the team has been far more generous across its last three contests. Jakob Poeltl is out indefinitely, and the team's frontcourt depth is razor-thin with Pascal Siakam traded. The Raptors have allowed a league-high 68.7 points in the paint since moving Siakam. That leaves Jackson in a prime position to score.
Murray's assists prop is set at 7.5 across all of our best sportsbooks except FanDuel, which offers it at 8.5. That's where we'll target this wager. Murray is averaging 5.3 assists per game on the road compared to 4.6 at home in 2023-24. He's dished at least nine assists in six games this campaign, and five have come as the visitor.
Sacramento allows the ninth most assists to opponents, including the fourth most at home. This game has been given a total of 237.5, which means there should be plenty of scoring and facilitating opportunities for each team.
Young is in the concussion protocol and sidelined for this one, so Murray should operate as Atlanta's primary playmaker. Murray has handed out 11, 10, and nine assists over three games without Young in 2023-24. He shouldn't struggle to hit the Over here again on Monday.
