Friday's NBA player props

Embiid has been on a tear this season, leading the Association with 35.1 points per game. He finished with 41 points, seven rebounds, and 10 assists in a win over the Nuggets on Tuesday, snapping his record-tying 16-game streak of 30-point, 10-rebound performances. We're betting on him starting a new streak tonight.

Though his streak of 30-10 games ended, Embiid extended his streak of scoring at least 30 points to 18. On the season, he's scored at least that many points in 24 of 29 contests and has 21 games with 30-10.

Jokic has only two triple-doubles across his last 10 games, but he still leads the league wit h 12 on the season. Because of his recent lull in triple-doubles, Joker's odds for this prop have increased to +210 after being much shorter earlier in the season. We'll take advantage of the pricing here.

Jokic is just 1-5 vs. Boston over the last three seasons, and he'll need to be at his best to guide his team to victory tonight. The Nuggets are 2-3 across their last five and just lost a close one to the 76ers on Tuesday, amping up the pressure for Denver to get a win Friday.

Jokic has three triple-doubles in his last six games against the Celtics, including one at TD Garden. Despite the tough matchup, he can get it done. Jokic hasn't played in three days, and he's got five triple-doubles this season when playing on at least three days' rest.

Atlanta allows the third most points per game and eighth most three-pointers to opponents this season, and Herro is in a great spot to take over on offense at home. He's averaging a career-best 22.4 points and 3.2 triples per game this season, scoring 23.5 at home.

On the season, Herro has 10 games with at least 25 points, seven of which have come over his last 14 outings. He posted 30 points against the Hawks in his first meeting with them this season, and we're banking on another high-scoring performance. Herro's points prop is offered at 22.5, but we can get plus-money odds for one basket more.

New Orleans has been above average in rebounds allowed to opponents, but the Pelicans allow the eighth most rebounds at home. That's where Nurkic comes in. The big man has pulled down at least 10 rebounds in 12 of his last 16, and he posted a double-double in two straight, five of his last 10, and 14 times on the season overall.

He's averaged 11.4 points and 7.7 rebounds in his career against Jonas Valanciunas, but we're not frightened of th is matchup. Nurkic is averaging 12.4 points and 10.5 rebounds in his first season with the Suns, and he's grabbing 2.8 offensive boards per contest.

This one is a long shot, but we're willing to take some risks to close out the week. Since returning from a lengthy layoff, Ball has averaged 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 5.7 assists in three games. He's got one triple-double to his credit this season, but he can get there again tonight.

This season, Ball is averaging 27.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 8.9 assists at home compared to 22.4 points, 5 rebounds, and 6.7 assists on the road. The Spurs rank in the top 5 in most rebounds, points, and assists allowed to opponents, which puts Ball in a favorable matchup. Add that he's at home, where his statistics are much beefier, and we've got a recipe for success to cash a bet with tremendously long odds. It's worth noting that one of Ball's 10 career triple-doubles came agai nst the Spurs.
