NBA picks today: Bucks vs. Grizzlies prediction, odds, over/under, spread

The Milwaukee Bucks (20-7) will pay a visit to the Memphis Grizzlies (18-9) on Thursday night with tipoff set for 8 p.m. ET from FedExForum. The Bucks are coming off a 128-111 win over the Warriors on Tuesday while the Grizzlies won their fourth straight outing with a 128-103 victory over the Hawks on Monday. Jrue Holiday is out for Milwaukee with an illness.

The Grizzlies are two-point favorites at home, priced at -125 on the moneyline at DraftKings Sportsbook. The Bucks are slight underdogs at +105 while the point total is set at 226.5.

Bucks vs. Grizzlies, 8 p.m. ET

Pick ATS: Bucks +2

Both teams are second in their respective conferences and have both been in fantastic form coming into this game. Milwaukee has the second-best defense in the league, allowing an average of just 107.6 points per game throughout the season. That improves to 104.0 through their last six games as they've gone 5-1 through that stretch.

However, their offense could use a little work, averaging 112.6 points per game this season while the Grizzlies have one of the better marks in the league with 115.5 points scored per game. They're led by Ja Morant, who holds an average of 27.7 ppg throughout the season, while he also leads the team in assists with 7.8 and steals with 1.2 per game. Morant (thigh) missed the last game that still resulted in a comprehensive win over the Hawks, but he's off the injury report so he should be back on the floor tonight.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been having a solid season so far, serving as the league's third-best scorer with 31.1 ppg through 23 appearances. It'll likely be a close one between these two in-form teams, but I'm going with the Bucks to cover as Antetokounmpo will look to put in a huge effort against a top team.

Over/Under: Over 226.5

Both teams went over the total in their last game, but have only done it twice in each of their last five games. As previously mentioned, Milwaukee has one of the best defenses in the league and will look to slow Memphis down at home and keep their score to a minimum. However, Antetokounmpo and Morant being on the floor means a high-scoring game. Both players will look to put on a show at FedEx Forum. Take the over in this one.
