It wasn't the best of games for Nikola Jokic on Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers as Joel Embiid outdueled him, scoring 47 points. Jokic had ‘only’ 24 on the night, plus 8 rebounds and 9 assists, while turning the ball over 7 times. Only twice this season has he had more turnovers than he did on Sunday, so you get the idea just how bad of a performance that was. But Jokic will want to make amends tonight and I think backing him to fill up the Pelicans’ net is the way to bet on this game. The 2-time MVP is averaging 29 points per game in his last 4 outings while shooting an incredible 72% from the field and 62% from three. He had 25 points in the win over the Pelicans a week ago, and in the last 10 meetings he has cleared this line 8 times, while in the 2 games he failed to do so he finished with 25 points. So the consistency is there, with Zion Williamson not clogging the paint he will have a open path to the basket in tonight's game.
