NBA parlay at mega (+848) odds, Thursday 11/17 — Pickswise

The NBA week continues with a 3-game slate on Thursday. It's not a big one, but it's enough to work with as we try to come up with a victorious mega parlay. The Brooklyn Nets are paying a visit to the Portland Trail Blazers, the Sacramento Kings are hosting the San Antonio Spurs and the schedule wraps up with a showdown in L.A. between the Los Angeles Clippers and Detroit Pistons.

Here is a look at today's mega parlay.

For this 3-leg parlay we are going with 1 favorite against the spread, 1 favorite against an alternate spread and an over play. Let's break down each of the 3.

Portland Trail Blazers -6 alternate spread over Brooklyn Nets (+160)

The Nets are 6-9 and they are every bit as bad as that record suggests – if not worse. Brooklyn just allowed a laughable 153 points in a loss to Sacramento earlier this week. Kevin Durant is trying to settle things down for the Nets, but with the Kyrie Irving drama and Ben Simmons still not much of a factor, it is hard to see how this team wins basketball games – at least of any decent opposition. Meanwhile, Portland has been a pleasant surprise so far in 2022-23. The Trail Blazers are leading the Northwest Division thanks to a trio of 20+ppg scorers in Damian Lillard, Anfernee Simons and Jerami Grant. It continues to be absurd how much respect the Nets are getting from the market. They aren't good; not at the moment, anyway. Don't be surprised if the Blazers win this one big.
