Phoenix Suns -4.5 over Dallas Mavericks (-108)
The Suns host the team that shockingly eliminated them from last season's playoffs, the Dallas Mavericks. Not much has changed in the Valley this offseason roster-wise, it's mostly the same team with a couple of important pieces such as head coach Monty Williams and Deandre Ayton getting contract extensions. Dallas, on the other hand, has lost a big time scorer in Jalen Brunson and hasn't really signed anyone of that magnitude to compensate for his departure. This team relies solely on Luka Doncic to carry them and although that might work for long stretches this season, it's a risky proposition if something bad were to happen to him. I'm expecting to see a motivated Suns team looking for revenge and I wouldn't be surprised if this were to end in a blowout win for the home team.
