Kyrie Irving to Record 8+ Assists (+150)
Irving's numbers have gone up across the board during the time that Kevin Durant has been away from the team, which isn't all that surprising. His assists, in particular, have gone up to 7.2 per game over his last 9 outings and he's also cleared this line 3 times in his last 4 games and all 3 of those teams are playoff bound (Knicks, 76ers, Warriors). The Lakers are a bottom 10 team in the NBA in opponent assists per game, so they could have a tough time slowing down the ball movement here. Irving missed the first meeting of the season vs LA, in fact he hasn't played them since April of 2021, so I'm sure he will be fired up to have a good game here. With Simmons out of the line-up the Nets have no real point-guard to replace him, so I think we can count on him to play at least 40 minutes or even more if it's a close game. Count on Irving to deliver the assists.
